Police, FBI investigating Bloomingdale bank robbery
Authorities are looking for a suspect in a Thursday robbery at a Bloomingdale bank.
Bloomingdale police were called about 10:10 a.m. Thursday about a robbery that occurred at the First American Bank at 80 Stratford Drive.
Officials say a man entered the bank, displayed a handgun and demanded the teller fill a bag with money.
The suspect was described as being about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and having a medium build. He was wearing a black ski mask over his face, a red T-shirt and blue jeans, reports said.
The man escaped with an unknown amount of cash.
No one was injured during the robbery, police said.
On Friday, authorities released a photograph of the robbery suspect. The Bloomingdale Police Department and the FBI are investigating the incident.
