Youngsters can go to court for stories, tour
The Kane County Law Library and Self Help Legal Center will host its 11th annual "Family Reading Night with the Judges" from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19. Listen and enjoy as 16th Circuit Court Judges William Brady, Richard Larson, and Thomas Stanfa share their favorite bedtime stories, then children can take a tour of a courtroom and sit in a real judge's chair.
Enjoy snacks, laughter, and stories as they celebrate, in conjunction with the Illinois State Library, the importance of literacy and quality time spent with children. Children can wear their pajamas. This event is for children in second grade or younger. An adult must accompany children.
