Funeral set for fallen Guardsman from Bartlett

Visitation is today for Kevin Grieco, 35, the National Guard sergeant killed by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan last month.

The funeral for the 35-year-old Bartlett man will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 0S233 Church St., Winfield.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 5, at Countryside Funeral Home, 950 S. Bartlett Road, Bartlett.

The Illinois Army National Guardsman was killed Oct. 27. Grieco, who is survived by his wife and two children, will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
