Browns' Jurevicius planning comeback

BEREA, Ohio -- Cleveland Browns wide receiver Joe Jurevicius says he isn't ready to end his NFL career and vows to come back and play for his hometown team next season.

Jurevicius revealed Monday that he has had five procedures to clean out a staph infection in his right knee following arthroscopic surgery in January. He'll soon have another operation to clean out scar tissue.

Jurevicius said he'll have surgery in Vail, Colo., instead of at the Cleveland Clinic, where he had the previous operation.

The 33-year-old is one of at least five Browns players known to have contracted staph since 2005.

Jurevicius, who has also played for the New York Giants, Tampa Bay and Seattle, said he intends to end his career by walking off the field wearing an orange helmet with his two daughters at his side.
