Prochno has the superior credentials

In the race for State Representative for Illinois House District 66 we really only have one qualified candidate.

On the one hand, Christine Prochno has 11 years of experience as an elected Elk Grove Village trustee. She has been awarded Volunteer of the Year and a Merit Citation for her extensive community service. Her candidacy has been endorsed by virtually every Northwest suburban mayor in District 66 and several suburban newspapers.

On the other hand, Mark Walker, Prochno's opponent, has no experience as an elected official. His community involvement pales in comparison to Prochno's. His only notable endorsements come from Democratic machine politicians like Mike and Lisa Madigan. In addition, voters should not dismiss the fact that Mark Walker has been arrested three times for driving under the influence. According to Mr. Walker, he has dealt with his alcohol issues. If so, we congratulate him and wish him the best. But dealing with those issues doesn't mitigate the question of poor judgment exhibited by being arrested for drunken driving twice in a single evening.

Christine Prochno has the leadership experience and integrity we need in Springfield. Vote for Christine Prochno.
