Disrespect property, disrespect rights?
I don't have a problem with people who might disagree with me on political issues, but I do have a problem with people who don't respect my property and as a result me.
We've had political lawn signs on our property almost every election. Just yesterday the McCain people came and put up a 4 x 4 lawn sign, at my request. Sometime between 3 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. someone thought they had the right to steal the smaller lawn sign and deface the larger one.
This kind of lack of respect is precisely what concerns me about far more important Democratic decisions. How can the Democrats expect anyone to trust them to do the right thing if they are elected into an office? It certainly doesn't sway my vote toward them, but further away.
Disrespect and intimidation have no place in our election process and those who use those things have lost their integrity as far as I'm concerned.
