Bean should fill out environment survey
My name is Erin and I am a concerned voter from Schaumburg. I read the article "Billboards Challenge Bean on Global Warming." I am disappointed that Congresswoman Bean still chooses not to fill out Greenpeace's Global Warming Survey. I haven't decided who I am going to vote for yet, and global warming is a top priority to me. The article describes some of Bean's accomplishments and endorsements. Her office responded in the article by saying that Bean has been active in fighting global warming, such as including an initiative to encourage investment in recycling technology, but that's not enough. If the environment is such an important issue to her, why not fill out the survey? Candidate Greenberg's answers may not have fallen in line with Greenpeace's views on global warming. But filling out the form showed that he's willing to talk about it. I would like to vote for a candidate who is going to be open and honest about their plan to stop global warming.
