PartnerTek releases new backup solution
SPRING GROVE - Partner Tek Inc., an IT consulting company, introduced a new backup and disaster recovery product to the market. NetProtect+, by PartnerTek, is a NAS based backup up system which provides full bit by bit backups of all Windows based servers in as little as 15 minute increments. This means the customer's backup is never more than 15 minutes old. NetProtect+ keeps 2 days worth of 15 minute backups, 5 days of daily backups, 5 weeks of weekly backups and up to 12 months of monthly backups. This enables companies to restore to just about any point in time that they would like.
Luncheon honors WINGS advocates
SCHAUMBURG - Women in Need Growing Stronger, WINGS, is celebrating October as Domestic Violence Awareness month by honoring several businesses and advocates that have supported the organization over the last year. During its annual luncheon, WINGS will give awards to Barnes and Noble, CitiCard, Hoffman Estates Mayor Bill McLeod and Joane McLeod, Illinois State Representative Suzie Bassi, DesignWise and Victor Pacini. Michael Bischof, who lost his sister Cindy, to domestic violence, will speak about legislation that was passed in Illinois.
