Why no further scrutiny?

I would like to know why Sarah Palin is off-limits in the media. When almost every comment made by McCain and Obama is scrutinized and analyzed to the extreme, why is it that Sarah is immune from criticism or analysis? Because she's a woman? Please.

Why is it that when people in her political rallies shout "Kill him" and "Off with his head" in reference to Obama, that this is not a headline story? Why does she just smile when these abominable sort of comments are made? I'd also like to know why Sarah's link to the Alaskan Independence Party isn't being mentioned more. Just six months ago she encouraged them in a speech. This party's goal is secession from the United States. This is the person who has been nominated to be VP. Not only is she ignorant, but she is also as un-American as can be.
