McCain philosophy hurts consumers

John McCain seems to have zipped his lip recently about privatizing Social Security so that your savings could "grow" under the free market style of Wall Street.

Since the market has gone from 14,000 to 8,900 in just a few short months, how long do you think it will be before it even begins to approach its previous levels?

How long will it be before you start drawing your retirement funds? Do they even come close to matching?

I'm sure you have been impressed with your statements over the last few quarters.

So what is McCain's next target for free market privatization?

Well. he wants to do the same for health care that he has done for investment banks. Oh, joy!

He wants to make health plans available across state lines. Did you ever wonder why so many credit card companies are based in Delaware? It has one of the most business friendly environments in the nation.

Got any ideas where the health insurance companies will migrate to? They will spring up in the state that allows the most ripping off the consumer.

If you think you have a problem getting a health insurance company nickel-diming you now, just wait.

Whenever a Republican candidate offers a benefit to the middle or lower income groups, you've got to turn the rock over and see what kind of snakes, scorpions and other creepy crawly things scurry for darkness.

Look closely at the benefits to you. You will be absolutely amazed how meaningless their help is to the average American.

Well-to-do Americans? Now that's a different story.
