Motorola wins video-on-demand contract from Singapore's StarHub

Motorola Inc., the largest U.S.-based mobile-phone maker, won an order from StarHub Ltd., Singapore's biggest pay-television operator, to provide video-on-demand services.

Motorola will provide the technical platform enabling delivery of on-demand television content to 500,000 households in Singapore that subscribe to StarHub's pay TV services, the Schaumburg-based company said in an e-mailed statement today. No financial details were disclosed.Windows.
