Injury accident in Glendale Heights

Police and fire crews are on the scene of a four-car accident at the intersection of Army Trail and Bloomingdale Road in Glendale Heights.

Officials said there are injuries in the accident that took place at 6:42 a.m., but none appears to be life threatening.

Traffic is also backed up at the intersection due to lanes being blocked by emergency crews.

Tow trucks are on the scene and preparing to haul off three cars.
