New hotel ready to open in Roselle

ROSELLE - A new 101-room Country Inn & Suites By Carlson opens on Oct. 17 at 1490 West Lake St. in Roselle. Eric Lightner serves as the general manager and Dave Swift is the owner. The hotel fills a niche and need; both from a location and market standpoint as it is close to Alexian Field and Lynfred Winery, according to the owners. Country Inns & Suites offers more than 420 locations that feature traditional architecture and sophisticated residential interior design with hardwood flooring and decorative ceiling borders. The rooms offer amenities often found at higher-priced hotels such as complimentary hot breakfast, in-room coffee maker, in-room iron and ironing board and weekday morning newspaper.
