Enjoy evening of musical classics at Noble Fool

Noble Fool Theatricals presents an evening of family-friendly, memorable music from "The Sound of Music," "Oklahoma!," "South Pacific" and more with "Some Enchanted Evening: The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein," music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and concept by Jeffery B. Moss.

"Some Enchanted Evening" continues through Nov. 1 at Pheasant Run Resort Mainstage Theater, 4051 E. Main St., St. Charles.

Tickets are priced at $27 on Thursdays and Fridays and at $38 on Saturdays and Sundays. Dinner show packages are available at $49 Thursdays, specially priced at $44 Fridays and $59 on Saturdays and Sundays. Overnight packages are available as well.

In just one evening, audience members will experience a memorable revue of the world's best-loved musicals that have forever defined musical theater. This tribute to Broadway icons Rodgers and Hammerstein is a celebration of their songs and lyrics, including music from: "Carousel," "Cinderella," "Oklahoma!," "The King and I," "South Pacific," "The Sound of Music," and more.

More than just a music revue, this collection of compositions places five performers in a theatrical setting. In the first act, the performers are seen "backstage," where the songs are used as dialogue between the performers. During the second act, the singers take the stage individually, eventually coming together for a grand celebration of Rodgers and Hammerstein classics. After both acts, audiences will have enjoyed over 35 including "People Will Say We're In Love," "I Cain't Say No," "Shall We Dance?", "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair" and "Something Wonderful."

"Most people have a favorite song or scene from each and every musical they've seen," says artistic director John Gawlik. "And this show allows the audience to relive all of their favorites in just one evening. It's like creating a live greatest hits album of Rodgers and Hammerstein right on stage."
