Choice of running mates tells the tale

Barack Obama picked a running mate based on whom he could best work with for four years in the White House and who has long been interested and involved in national and world affairs. John McCain picked a running mate who could help him for four months of a campaign and who has expressed no interest in national or world affairs until a few weeks ago. Obama clearly is more forward-thinking and has the better judgment to be president.
