Hawks send 3 to Rockford
The Chicago Blackhawks have assigned forwards Evan Brophey, Petri Kontiola and Pascal Pelletier to the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs.
The Blackhawks' training camp roster now stands at 35 active players, which includes 20 forwards, 11 defensemen and 4 goaltenders.
The Hawks (3-1-1) have a preseason game against the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
