Geneva's Gibby's Wine Den now serving food

Gibby's Wine Den of Geneva is now offering casual dining menu selections to go along with its wines. Moveable Feast of Geneva is providing gourmet creations for Gibby's patrons on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at either the wine bar or as take-out meals.

Morton's wine dinner

Morton's The Steakhouse in Schaumburg hosts an exclusive wine dinner, featuring wines from the Hill Family Estate in California's wine country. Menu items include smoked salmon pinwheel hors d'ouvres, a mixed field green salad with grilled scallops and a main entree of filet mignon with pumpkin risotto and grilled asparagus.

Marion Street Cheese Market in Oak Park has opened its new, 4,200-square-foot shop at 100 S. Marion St. The store is celebrating with grand opening events running through Sunday, Oct. 5. Stop by to sample artisan cheeses, wines and craft beers. Guests can also browse through the store's indoor herb garden or take a peek at its natural sandstone fireplace. The cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner Tuesdays through Saturdays and lunch on Sundays.
