Randall Road west to Peck Road, and the Eagle Brook subdivision, will be tested Sept. 29; the west side of town, from the Fox River to Randall, Sept. 30; and the east side Oct. 1. Residents might experience rust in the water during or immediately after the testing. The water is safe; however, you should refrain from doing laundry until the water is clear. In the event that rusty water discolors clothes while being laundered, keep the clothing wet and contact the Geneva Public Works Department at (630) 232-1501 to request a packet of rust-removing solution. For more information, call Deputy Chief Jerry Koster or Chief Steve Olson at (630) 232-2530.
