'Neighborliness' inspires strong-arm

After watching Barack Obama's interview with Bill O'Reilly and hearing his new neighborliness plan I was inspired. For those of you that might have missed it, this is where you take money from people who are doing OK financially and give it to some one who is not.

I was so excited I headed out to the local coffee shop. While I was waiting in line I noticed the woman next to me had two 10 dollar bills in her hand. I only had five dollars. So I smiled at her, grabbed a ten out of her hand and explained how this is called neighborliness. She had more than me, so she should give me 50 percent. She didn't object, just looked a bit awe-struck, I thought. Probably from the good feelings she was experiencing from her first encounter with neighborliness.

As I walked out to my car, singing the praises of neighborliness, cops came and arrested me for strong-arm robbery. They probably didn't see the interview. So I explained to them that this was Obama's new neighborliness program. They told me "You can put lipstick on a strong-arm robbery, but it is still strong arm robbery."
