Can't admit the slightest wrongdoing

On Sept. 10, your paper reported on Page 2 that Barack Obama's lipstick joke was "clearly drawing a connection to Sarah Palin's convention joke." (I am quoting your own paper here.)

Today, Obama is the victim of a Republican "smear." Please. He got a rousing ovation from his audience for this tired old joke . . . he knew EXACTLY what he was saying and doing.

But once again, he is incapable of admitting even the slightest wrongdoing.

Heaven help us if he is elected.
