Speaker Pelosi is no friend of the poor

Let's call on Speaker Pelosi to step aside and get out of the way. She obviously doesn't have the country's welfare at heart.

Let's ask Pelosi what special interest she has that she would block progress on vital legislation.

Let's find out who's side she is on. Is she on the side of the small guy, the seniors on a fixed income, the people living from check to check, the working poor?

If she were, the offshore drilling act would be law by now.

Democrats and Republicans must put their petty politics aside for the good of the nation.

At this most difficult time, we must lift up the nation and the battered and shaken economy by putting disposable income into the pockets of working Americans by lowering the price of gas at the pump.

As for Nancy Pelosi, she again stands in the way of progress. She is no friend of the poor.

I say put America first. and if she wants to save the planet, join the U.N.
