Pet adoption fair set for Sunday

Charlestowne Mall and Anderson Animal Shelter will host a Pet Adoption Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21.

Anderson Animal Shelter and Charlestowne Mall invite St. Charles residents to open their homes and their hearts through pet adoption. Dozens of furry, lovable companions will be on-site ready to meet their new best friend, so bring the family.

Attention pet owners! Whether you met your pet at the adoption fair or have had them for years, the Picture People invites all pet owners to support Anderson Animal Shelter by taking a studio portrait with their animal friends this weekend.

Participants can take advantage of a full photography session with no sitting fee and a free 8- by 10-inch portrait for a donation of $8. Simply stop by the fair to pick up your voucher, then present it to the Picture People at the time of your photography session.

All proceeds from this special offer will go directly to Anderson Animal Shelter to assist in the care of the approximately 3,000 animals that visit the shelter each year.

Offer valid Saturday, Sept. 20 and Sunday, Sept. 21 at the Charlestowne Mall's Picture People location only. You must present voucher to receive offer. It has a retail value of $22; additional prints are available for purchase.
