Obama can speak, but can he deliver?
On Aug. 28, Sen. Obama delivered a speech that only he is capable of doing. His delivery was definitely magnificent.
However the substance was vague, lacking in strength and unclear.
The senator touched on the topics that people wanted to hear about such as war in Iraq, terrorists, contracting out, alternative fuels, mortgage crisis, dealing with foreign leaders, health care, unemployment, immigration, partisanship on Capitol Hill, and other less important issues.
The topics are excellent. They are on most people's minds.
Unfortunately, the senator did not say how he would achieve the objectives, how much it would cost and how he would pay for it.
The senator sure can deliver a speech, but can he deliver the goods?
We the people have no idea what he can do other than deliver prepared speeches. Sorry Senator, that is not good enough.
