Dist. 211 administrator promoted
Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211's board Thursday promoted Jeff Butzen to replace Superintendent-elect Nancy Robb. Butzen will take Robb's post as associate superintendent for instruction, leaving his previous post as assistant superintendent for curriculum. He starts Jan. 1, the same date Robb will take over for retiring Superintendent Roger Thornton. Board President Robert LeFevere said Butzen's annual salary including some benefits will be $162,500. Butzen began in District 211 in 1978 as a math teacher at Hoffman Estates High School.
