St. Charles promotion winners announced
The winner of the first week of prizes in the "Make Tracks to Main Street" promotion recently was announced by the Downtown St. Charles Partnership and St. Charles' Main Street merchants.
Connie Oie of St. Charles won a Mid-Week Fiesta Party for 10 people at Miguel's on the Fox, 109 W. Main St. in downtown St. Charles. "Make Tracks to Main Street" is the follow-up promotion to the very successful "Make Tracks to 1st Street," which had approximately 5,000 entrants.
The Downtown St. Charles Partnership originally worked with the merchants of First Street to put the "Make Tracks to 1st Street" prize drawing together, to encourage customers to come into the area affected by the construction resulting from the First Street Redevelopment Project.
As the redevelopment construction moved to the area behind the 100 W. Main St. businesses, the new promotion was announced by the partnership. The complete list of prizes, participating businesses and prize drawing dates is included here. People interested in filling out an entry form can do so at any of the businesses listed.
