• Vandals cut a hole in a trampoline Aug. 31 or Sept. 1 in a backyard at a home on the 400 block of North Valley Road, police said. Damage was estimated at $300.

• Shawn W. Kaasch, 21, 123 Waverly Road, Barrington, was arrested around 10:40 p.m. Aug. 30 at his home and charged with possession of marijuana, police said. Laura A. Kayler, 17, 314 S. Smith St., Palatine, was arrested at the home and charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor, reports added. Their Rolling Meadows court date was set for Sept. 19.

• Burglars stole an MP3 player with holder, a cup holder, several CDs and loose change Aug. 27 or 28 out of an unlocked 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee parked at a home on the 400 block of Drury Lane, police said. A value estimate was not available.

• Burglars stole a GPS unit, CD power converter and black office bag with personal information overnight Aug. 27-28 out of an unlocked 2001 BMW parked at a home on the 500 block of North Avenue, police said. Value was estimated at $275.

• Elizabeth Anderson, 17, 1024 Victoria Drive, Fox River Grove, Tracy M. Samuel, 17, 9236 Primrose Court, Fox River Grove, and Tyler A. Sciortino, 17, 9157 Primrose Court, Fox River Grove, were arrested around 7:30 a.m. Aug. 29 at Barrington High School, 616 W. Main St., and charged with disorderly conduct, police said. According to reports, they admitted smoking marijuana on their way to school. Their Rolling Meadows court date was set for Oct. 2

• Asif S. Mohammed, 19, 1N500 Turnberry Lane, Winfield, was arrested around 2:05 a.m. Aug. 31 and charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor after a traffic stop on Dundee Road near Dunheath, police said. His Rolling Meadows court date was set for Oct. 9.
