Cook girls tennis preview
Three questions
1) Will Barrington win the West and Buffalo Grove win the East?
Both teams' coaches said they were a little concerned with graduating a high amount of players from last year. But the Fillies return four state qualifiers from a year ago and the Bison have three state qualifiers back, which puts them each in the favorites roll again.
2) How far can Fremd senior Jenna Langhorst go in the state tournament?
It looks like it would take an injury or a surprising upset for Langhorst to not return to the state tournament. She has qualified, and been eliminated in the consolation quarterfinals, in each of her first three years. In her final high school year will she be able to finish in the top six?
3) Can Prospect be the team to unseat either Barrington or Buffalo Grove at the top of the MSL?
The Knights have two state qualifiers of their own returning, which puts them as the only other school in the conference (along with Barrington and Buffalo Grove) with more than one state qualifier coming back.
