Voter registration drive: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays through Oct. 7, 837 W. Higgins Road, Schaumburg. The Schaumburg Township Republican Organization will man its headquarters to register new voters or voters moving to Schaumburg Township. Two forms of identification are needed with at least one showing current residence address. Voters must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years of age and residents of the precinct at least 30 days before Election Day. Hope Community Church No Sale Garage Sale: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sept. 14, Eisenhower Junior High School, 800 Hassell Road, Hoffman Estates. Donated items will be given away free to community members to celebrate the church's 10th anniversary in the Schaumburg/Hoffman area. First come, first served.
