Boot Camp: 6-7 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 4 to Oct. 16 (no class Sept. 11), Lindenhurst Park District 2200 E. Grass Lake Road, Lindenhurst. For ages 14 and up. Class will incorporate various stations such as squats, lunges, planks, push-ups and kickboxing. Bring a water bottle. Capturing Memories: 1 p.m. Sept. 5, Mundelein Park District Regent Center, 1200 Regent Drive, Mundelein. Adults 18 and over can learn to capture milestones and memorable moments. Author Mary LoVerde will present "Every Woman Has a Story Inside. The My Time, My Story." Attendees will have the opportunity to record and take home their own story at the My Time, My Story Kiosk. 5K Twilight Run: 6 p.m. Sept. 6, Gorton Center parking lot, 400 E. Illinois Road, Lake Forest. Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association will hold "Walk, Run or Wheel" with a 6 p.m. start time for wheelchair participants and a 6:05 p.m. start time for runners and walkers. The race will be followed by a post party in the Gorton Center parking lot from 7-10 p.m. Registration, limited to 500 runners, is $20 per person until Aug. 30, $25 after. CareCoach: Lake Forest Hospital's CareCoach mobile health unit offers Lake County residents childhood immunizations and health screenings, including blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol and asthma. A Walk In The Park: 8 a.m. Sept. 7, Six Flags Great America, 1 Great America Parkway, on I-94 at Route 132, Gurnee. A $25 registration fee per person includes breakfast, gift bag, souvenir wristband and entrance to a closing celebration. Blood Pressure Testing: The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center will offer blood pressure testing and education for adults at no charge to Lake County residents at the following times and places:

• Park Place Senior Center, 414 S. Lewis, Waukegan, 10:30 a.m. to noon Sept. 8.

• Foss Park District, 1730 Lewis Ave., North Chicago, 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 10.

Immunization Clinics for Children: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Mondays; 1-3 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; 1-6 p.m. Thursdays; and 9-11 a.m. the second Saturday of each month, Lake County Health Department Belvidere Medical Building Annex, 2303 Dodge Avenue, Waukegan. The cost of an immunization is $10, but no one is denied services due to inability to pay. No appointment necessary. The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center offers free anonymous and confidential HIV testing. No appointment necessary. Weight Watchers: Weigh-ins begin at 5:30 p.m., meeting at 6 p.m., Thursdays at the Lakefront Park Building, 71 Nippersink Blvd., Fox Lake.

STD clinics: Registration begins at 8 a.m. Tuesdays and 3 p.m. Thursdays, Belvidere Medical Building, 2400 Belvidere Road, Waukegan. The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center offers confidential clinics for the screening and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases. Patients can call up to one week in advance to schedule an appointment. Fees are on a sliding scale. A $10 co-pay is required at the time of service (this excludes high school students and Medicaid clients). No one will be refused treatment due to inability to pay. Caregiver Support Group: 1:30-3:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Warren Township Senior Center, 17801 W. Washington Street, in Gurnee. Free, ongoing support group for caregivers that regularly care for or about a person who is 60 or older, or for those 60 or older who are raising a grandchild.
