What are president qualifications?
In a rather short time, we have been assured many times that Sarah Palin is not qualified to assume the office of president of the United States.
But she is not running for that office. All other major candidates are senators who have never managed anything.
What are the qualifications needed for the highest office? Ask 100 experts and you will get 100 varying replies. In U.S. politics, military men and state governors have often won the presidency, but in theory, anyone might win.
So Palin's two years as governor of Alaska makes her more experienced than the others, not that most persons will regard that as a dominant factor.
If the McCain-Palin ticket wins, Palin will have plenty of time to get up to speed on the demands of the presidency.
If it loses, it will be many years before another woman is a presidential contender.
