Palin compares favorably to Obama
The Obama campaign's audacity is amazing.
Imagine them saying Sarah Palin is too inexperienced to be a heartbeat away from the presidency when their candidate for president has even less experience.
Let's compare.
Barack Obama served in the Illinois senate from 1997 to 2004. While there, he voted "present" 130 times and spent a lot of that time campaigning for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives (he lost) and then for the U.S. Senate.
From 2005 to the present, he has again spent a lot of time campaigning. He has no executive experience.
Sarah Palin served on a city council from 1992 to 1996 and then as the city's mayor from 1996 to 2002. She was elected governor of Alaska in 2006.
Along the way, she has fought corruption and won. She has reduced spending and lowered taxes. She has appointed Democrats and independents to posts in her administration. She has an impressive list of accomplishments and executive experience.
The Obama campaign has made a big issue of the fact that Palin does not have any foreign policy experience.
Exactly how much did Bill Clinton have when he was elected president? None.
