The Elgin Children's Chorus is inviting new members ages 7 through 16. Chorus members come from more than 55 different schools in 18 school districts. West Nile virus found in area

A Lake in the Hills mosquito trap this week tested positive for the West Nile virus, which marks the first case in the county this year, officials said. The Illinois Department of Public Health, which tested the trap, has not identified any human cases. There are various ways to protect yourself from the virus. For tips, visit www.mcdh.info.
