• Callie E. Salerno, daughter of Todd and Julie Salerno of Mount Prospect, has been awarded the Resident Tuition Scholarship from Winona State University in Winona, Minn. Callie has been admitted to the College of Education for the 2008-09 school year and is majoring in early childhood education.

• Christina Herppich, daughter of Tim and Joan Herppich of Arlington Heights, earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences with Honors from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, May 11. Christina is pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota.

• Michelle A. Misichko, daughter of Patty and Emil Misichko of Wheeling graduated with honors on May 11, from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.

• Michelle E. Larson, daughter of Mary Ellen Larson of Elk Grove Village, was named to the College of Arts and Sciences dean's list for the spring 2008 semester at Roosevelt University.

• Tomasz Folta of Arlington Heights and a recent graduate of John Hersey High School has been selected as a recipient of Illinois Institute of Technology's prestigious Camras Scholarship. Folta plans to study architecture at IIT.

• Jenna Kelly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis W. Kelly of Buffalo Grove, a 2006 graduate of Adlai E. Stevenson High School and a junior psychology major, was named to the spring dean's list at Denison University.
