WBBM chooses Barack over Bears

All-news WBBM 780-AM, the Bears' flagship radio station, will break into the exhibition game at Cleveland tonight to air Sen. Barack Obama's nomination acceptance speech from the Democratic National Convention in Denver.

The Bears-Browns game starts at 6:30, and the speech should begin at about 9.

The game will be simulcast on all-sports WSCR 670-AM, a CBS Radio sibling station that will carry it in its entirety.
