Hard to use transit when it doesn't run

Although we try to utilize public transportation, once again we are disappointed.

Several Bears fans stood waiting for the Bears Express bus in Schaumburg Thursday.

Then we saw the notice of no bus.

I lost time at work and my Bears tickets since I could not drive downtown.

I did check the Pace Web site earlier in the week and there was no notice of the cancellation.

Even last year when all the budget issues were resolved, Pace didn't reinstate the "Bears Express Bus."

Go figure. Pace must not need the money.

I shouldn't be surprised, the change of the routes going into Yorktown Shopping Center in Lombard are just ridiculous.

The changes are inconveniencing riders and businesses in the area. Not to mention the danger to the buses and riders being picked up on Butterfield Road. In the winter with the piles of snow, it should be a real challenge.

Evidently revenue and customer service is not a priority.
