Seggerman named CDW vice president

CDW Corp., a provider of technology products and services based in Vernon Hills, announced Monday that Virginia L Seggerman has joined the company as vice president and controller. She reports to Ann E. Ziegler, senior vice president and chief financial officer. Most recently, Seggerman served as senior vice president and chief accounting officer at Equity Office Properties Trust in Chicago until Equity Office's acquisition by The Blackstone Group in 2007. "Virginia's strong background in accounting and financial management, particularly in a leveraged environment, will make her a valuable contributor here at CDW," Ziegler said. Throughout her tenure at Equity Office, Seggerman was heavily involved in the upgrade of financial systems, process improvement and development of operational performance metrics. Following the acquisition by Blackstone, Seggerman also assumed responsibility for treasury and risk management activities.
