Wheaton bank robbed
A West Suburban Bank in Wheaton was robbed Friday morning by a man wearing a gray bandanna across his face.
Police said the man entered the bank at 295 W. Loop Road around 10:35 a.m. carrying a black, cloth backpack. No one reported seeing a weapon, and after the man got an undisclosed amount of cash, he ran away from the bank to the west.
The robber was described as being between 5-feet 11-inches to 6-feet 2-inches tall, 23 to 26 years old, between 200 and 220 pounds and was wearing a white shirt and a dark baseball cap.
Police said no one was injured.

Wheaton police investigating the robbery at the West Suburban Bank say it's unclear whether the incident is related to any other robberies in the area.
