Peck Farm rec center nearing completion

Anyone traveling along Kaneville Road in Geneva this summer may have spotted a new structure on the north side of the road which resembles a modern metal barn.

This 50,000-square-foot "barn-like" structure is the new Peck Farm Recreation Center being constructed on behalf of the Geneva Park District. Housing two indoor basketball courts, a complete fitness center, an indoor three-lane walking/running track, separate men and women's steam rooms, indoor playground (referred to as The Farm), and multiple program rooms. This grand addition to the park district is expected to open mid-fall of this year.

As the first people to sign up for the pre-sale membership, the Hlava family of Geneva are the winners of a free Gold membership pass to the new facility which includes usage of all of the amenities of both Peck Farm Recreation Center and park districts current center, Sunset Racquetball and Fitness.

Pre-sale discounts of 20-percent off will continue until Aug. 29. Memberships can be purchased at either the on site office located at Peck Farm Recreation Center, 3507 Kaneville Road, or Sunset Racquetball and Fitness Center, 710 Western Ave.
