Colleges should review boundaries

I agree with Sean Herling's (Mount Prospect) letter about how crazy it is for people living so far east having to attend Harper College rather than Oakton Community College (Fence Post, Aug. 13).

I have taken courses at Harper and it is an excellent school, but maybe in this "green" age, it is time to redistrict.

Now that Oakton's main campus is on the far northeast end of Des Plaines, it would definitely make sense for those of us who live along the Des Plaines River area to be redistricted to attend Oakton rather than Harper or at least change the out-of-district fees or policies.

Hope I live to see the change.
