McCain should read the Constitution

I've been listening to McCain and Obama go back and forth about drilling oil and energy plans, etc. Most recently, McCain was telling Obama to persuade the Democratic leadership to end the summer recess and take up the energy bill.

While I think it's important that the energy bill is considered soon, Sen. McCain needs to read the job description of the job he's applying for, particularly Article 2 Section 3 of the Constitution which says the president has the power "on extraordinary occasions, (to) convene both Houses or either of them." In other words, he needs to call his buddy President Bush and tell him to call the Congress back if he thinks it's so important. Let's see that maverick side of McCain come out...unless of course campaigning is more important.
