Crystal Lake man stabbed, wounds not fatal
Police continue to investigate a stabbing that occurred in the parking lot of a Crystal Lake apartment building over the weekend.
According to reports, a 28-year-old Crystal Lake man was stabbed multiple times in the back Friday night, sustaining injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
He is being treated for puncture wounds in his back at Woodstock Memorial Center, according to a news release.
No information was available about the man's condition Sunday.
The incident occurred at 9 p.m. in a parking lot near the Crystal Lake Apartments in the 100 block of West Woodstock Street, the release said.
Police said Sunday that the man knew his attacker, described as a 27-year-old man, but would not release any additional details.
