Block party a blockbuster, thanks to help

We wish to thank you and the public for helping to make the Mid Summer Downtown Block Party in Mount Prospect the great success that it was on July 26th.

In addition, we'd like to thank the Mount Prospect Public Works Department for their excellent work in preparation, setup and cleanup after the event. Special thanks to Glen, Dan and Jim for their special attention to detail.

To all of our sponsors, thank you. It is only because of you, we can make the rides and activities for the young children available at no charge.

To Dawn Fletcher Collins, you are the greatest event chairman in the world! You bring together a group of willing volunteers and make us all enjoy the work as we give back to the community.

Keep up the good work and let's do it bigger and better next year at the 10th anniversary Mid Summer Block Party in downtown Mount Prospect.
