• Lucas Adam Streich, son of Susan and Michael Streich of Arlington Heights graduated from Illinois State University on May 10 with a Bachelor of Science Degree.

• Brooke Peterson, daughter of Gary and Cheryl Peterson, of Arlington Heights, was named to the dean's list at Olivet Nazarene University for the spring 2008 semester. She is majoring in secondary education/English with a minor in criminal justice.

• Lydia J. Daniels, daughter of Dale and Karen Daniels of Rolling Meadows, and a senior at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Mich., made the dean's list for spring semester of 2008. She is a Spanish major.

• Lainey Ann Kahn, daughter of Penny and Arnie Kahn of Buffalo Grove, has been named to the dean's list at the University of Illinois, Champaign. Lainey is a 2006 graduate of Buffalo Grove High School.

• Zachary Pietryla of Elk Grove Village was named to St. Olaf College dean's list.

• Michelle E. Cimino, of Elk Grove Village, has been named to the dean's list at Robert Morris College.

• Cassandra M Belter of Arlington Heights has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2008 semester at Bradley University in Peoria.

• Margaret May Ritzenthaler, daughter of Ken and Ellen Ritzenthaler of Mount Prospect, graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in music education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on May 11. She was also named to the dean's list for the spring, 2008 semester. She will be student teaching this fall at Glenbrook South High School and Attea Middle School in Glenview.

• Amanda M. Underwood, daughter of Roy and Angela Underwood of Long Grove, was named to the spring 2008 dean's list at Grinnell College.
