Palatine Jaycees embody spirit of America
Palatine Township would like to extend our sincere congratulations to the Palatine Jaycees for once again organizing the 4th of July Parade that reflects the true spirit of America.
The Palatine Jaycees have excelled in organizing the parade and assisting the Palatine Township officials in collecting food for the Palatine Township Food Pantry. Our sincere thanks to everyone who came out to the parade with donations in hand, thinking of the less fortunate in our community: 20 boxes of nonperishable food and more than $1,100 was collected during the parade for the Palatine Township Food Pantry.
The Jaycees should be commended for their dedication and support of the numerous programs in our community. During the past year, they have collected food for the Palatine Township Food Pantry, contributed financially to our Needy Family Fund, coordinated efforts to collect school supplies for the "Apple Tree Campaign", purchased holiday gifts for Palatine Township "Angels" and participated in our holiday "Adopt-A-Family" program. And, this is just a small part of what they contribute to our community!
Thank you Palatine Jaycees for the special work that you do!
