Vote out lawmakers who OK bailouts

I have read the recent news that, yet again, our federal government is proposing bills to have a "mortgage rescue plan." Instead of bailing out companies like Bear Stearns, or individuals that made mistakes in what they can afford, when is the government going to help the people that actually try to watch their finances? Maybe benefits from government should be re-aligned with those that do their best to borrow wisely and plan for the future, instead of those people and institutions that overextended themselves. Why should the everyday taxpayer pay for these type of greedy mistakes? This type of legislation promotes the idea that you can just throw money out the window, and still get bailed out.

I hope that everyone exercises their right to vote in every election. Legislators are supposed to vote how you, their constituents, want them to. Not how they want to. They are representatives.
