Streamwood men arrested in burglary
One Streamwood man and a Streamwood juvenile are facing burglary charges after police said they stole golf balls from the Bartlett Hills Golf Course.
Miguel A. Medrana, 25, of 21202 Falmouth Court, was charged with one felony count of burglary and misdemeanor trespassing Sunday, Bartlett police said. The juvenile faces a petition of delinquency for burglary and trespassing.
According to police, officers stopped the men about 1:55 a.m. Sunday while patrolling the area of West Bartlett Road and South Park Place Drive. While with the men, police said they recovered 15 golf balls, which were taken from the golf course, as well as a cellular phone and change that had been stolen from an unlocked car on Taylor Avenue.
The juvenile, police said, is also being cited for using the false name of an adult when arrested.
Police said bond information was not immediately available.
