Food vendor lineup: Bob's Lemonade, Bojo's, Cousin's Subs, Genoa's, Greek Corner, Johnny D's Italian Lemonade, Joseph's Pizza, Old Neighborhood Hot Dogs, Pancho's Mexican Food, Salt Creek BBQ, Stone Dragon, Strawberry Patch, Suzie's Funnel Cakes.

What's everyone's favorite? The carnival and what new rides arrive each year. It's also a very clean event. Parks does a great job.

What will the ticket cost be? Wristbands purchased at the fest are $20. They are $15 at village hall and the Sports Hub through July 9. Unlimited carnival rides with wristbands on from 6-11 p.m. July 9-10, and 3-7 p.m. July 12-13.

Anything extra special residents can expect? "Rain Nation" is a local band. Member Will Fedanzo is homegrown. He is so excited. He's the videographer for the village board and he worked at Sports Hub for years. It's nice when you can play in front of your hometown crowd.

Glendale Heights Fest 2008
