Arts & Crafts Fair/Business and Charity Expo: Noon-8 p.m. July 4 and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. July 5, during the Hometown Fest at Community Park, on Palatine Road and Northwest Highway, Palatine. The Palatine Jaycees are seeking participants for the fair and expo which will feature over 50 exhibits of arts and crafts along with a business expo and a charity expo especially for nonprofit organizations. Rummage Sale: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 11 and 8 a.m. to noon July 12, Lindenhurst Trinity United Methodist Church, 101 Beck Road, Lindenhurst. The United Methodist Women of Lindenhurst Trinity United Methodist Church annual rummage sale. Homemade bakery items will also be available.
