Moto jumper breaks world record

ShredorDie.com, the Web site founded by Tony Hawk to focus extensively on action sports, has the exclusive video of motocross jumper Bird soaring close to 395 feet, setting a new world record. The 38 second video is becoming one of the most viewed videos on the site and can be seen at www.shredordie.com/videos.

Shot on June 21 in Taft, CA., by moto director and producer Jay Schweitzer and Mike McEntire of Powerband Films, the video shows Bird jumping a record 394 feet, 7 inches. Birds' jump tops Robbie Maddison's previous record (378 feet) from March 2008 in Australia.
