Chicago's gun laws vs. our gun rights

Once again Chicago's Mayor "Arrogance" is ready to spend the tax payers' money to get his way on gun control.

He will spend millions of tax dollars on lawyer fees to fight the laws that have been part of our nation's Second Amendment rights for overˆ  200 years -- the right to bear arms.

What makes him think his sovereignty is more important than our nation's Constitution?

I do not own a gun, but I would like the right to protect my family. Our nation's forefathers have given me that right.

He is just using this opportunity to fill the pockets of his lawyer friends.

How about using the money instead to hire more police?

A few million dollars could hire enough police officers to finally enforce the "cell phone while driving law" that was enacted and generate more revenue to hire even more police.

Wow, what a concept!
